What is the Summer Bridge Program at Morton West?
Morton Freshman Academy at Morton West offers an opportunity for incoming freshmen students to increase their math, reading, and writing skills and earn high school credit FREE of charge through our Summer Bridge Program. The program helps students transition to high school who are in need of extra academic support. Students will earn a half credit for each course taken, math or English. Students will also get the opportunity to explore art, culinary arts, engineering, and other CTE content during their math and English classes. We recommend students take the full day (Math and English), which will earn them 1 full high school credit. This year the program will have two sessions, June and July. Students can only take one session as course work will be the same in each session.Students enrolled in the Summer Bridge program will receive their Morton laptops, free breakfast, lunch and snacks daily, free program supplies, and high school credit.Freshman Academy at Morton West Coordinator (Berwyn): Megan Terpstra - mterpstra@jsmorton.orgTo register go to: https://tinyurl.com/WestSB2023
