Why enroll in the STEM program at Morton?
What is STEM?
The Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Program is an opportunity for students from Unity Junior High School, Lincoln Middle School, Heritage Middle School, George Washington Middle School and Freedom Middle School to take classes at the Morton Freshman Center during their eighth grade year. Students enroll in Integrated Math 1 STEM Honors and Physics STEM Honors. The two classes interweave the concepts of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Math and Science classes will meet as combined and separate depending on the activity.
